Watch out for Haley's Marine in Edgewater FL.They kept our marine motor for 3.5 months then charged us $2000 for repairs.
The next day upon receiving it back, the motor failed after just 1.5 hours in the water. Faulty valve spring was installed. The valve spring broke, which went thru the piston and cracked the block. And they re-installed rusted parts in the motor.
Haley's didn't follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and oiling the parts to be re-installed. Then Haley's claimed we authorized them to re-install the rusted parts. Haley's is lying and they don't stand by their work. Our motor is now junk and cannot be repaired.
Capital One insists on a second opinion to win our dispute. We cannot find any certified mechanic who is willing to go against another repair shop.
